On New Year's Eve, Tuesday, December 31, La Folie in San Francisco will have two seatings, both with prix fixe menus only. The first seating, 5:30 to 6:00 PM, will be served a $150.00 five-course menu plus an amuse bouche and petits fours with an optional $85.00 pairing of wines by the glass; the second seating, from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, will be served a $250.00 seven-course menu plus an amuse bouche and petits fours and an optional $100.00 pairing of wines by the glass. The main course choice for both seatings will be Roasted Venison with celery root purée, compressed apple, cranberry pate de fruit and sauce poivrade; Certified Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with Pommes Maxim, truffle Madeira sauce and smoked poivrade; or Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye (75.00 supplement) with Pommes Maxim and truffle Madeira sauce.
