Register now for a free seminar, New Medicare Protections for LGBT Couples, with speaker Deb Kinney from the DLK Law Group, to be held Thurs., Feb. 9, 6–7:30 p.m., at the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, 1800 Market Street.

Learn about new provisions from the Dept. of Health and Human Services that allow states to extend spousal protections to LGBT couples when one partner may need long-term care assistance funded by Medicare. Learn how California is implementing these policies and to do to qualify for the additional protections in the Medi-Cal program. Attendees receive a complimentary estate planning organizer.
