Description

Three pioneering printmakers come together to present new possibilities for art in the digital age in New Horizons in Printmaking.

Kristin Doner’s Wabai-Sabi Ikebana Series begins with hand gestures captured on a scanner, manipulated to create a flower-form and vase composition. This composition is then deconstructed and recombined to present continued explorations of color and composition.

Joanna Ruckman's Apron Series deals with memories woven into familial artifacts while exploring cultural boundaries and American traditions.

In his Skein Series, Matthew Silverberg uses color and shape dynamics to make wrapped digital armatures that are displayed on paper. These new soft and fine line-etched environments are called Skeins.
