Description
RadioShack is hosting a free three-day “Netogether” event connecting pedestrians, celebrities, tech experts and performers at Justin Herman Plaza on the Embarcadero in San Francisco with their counterparts on Military Island in New York’s Times Square.The event will run simultaneously in both cities and will feature two gigantic 11x17-foot notebook computers set-ups with webcams and 7x13-foot screens connecting the coastal cities with live video and audio exchanges.
Throughout the event, which is free to the public, the notebooks will provide a forum for entertaining ways to connect with others who are 3,000 miles away. With a mix of performers, tech experts and participants on opposite coasts, there will be live music,entertainment, games and real-time connections with loved ones during the course of three days of wall-to-wall connectivity.
