Description
Some things never change. Kids still listen to Black Flag, get pissed off at their parents and scream about it in their own, angst-ridden hardcore bands-and it sounds as fresh as ever. Needles, from San Francisco, have the same extreme blasts of punk rock riffage, impossibly fast drum lines and heart-on-the-sleeve, top-of-the lungs screaming vocals that Minor Threat were famous for, though musically, they have a darker, more ominous sound. Plus these guys hit new levels of really-pissed-off, and they funnel that anger into each power chord they beat out of their guitars, creating an insanely energetic live show in the process.
