Description
This 15th annual Father’s Day program features traditional and contemporary Native music and dance, including Jesus Cortes’ award-winning Deer Dance, traditional singer L. Frank Manriquez, Su-Nu-Nu Shimal Pomo Dancers, contemporary singer Desirae Harp, dancing from the Medicine Warriors featuring the All Nation Singers, and jazz by the John-Carlos Perea Quintet. Free craft activities for the kids. Organized with American Indian Contemporary Arts.The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry and children’s programs with artists from Africa, Colombia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, the Philippines, Sweden, China, Venezuela and the Bay Area. Yerba Buena Gardens is located between Mission Street and Howard Street and 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown San Francisco.
