A laidback mastermind lounging in the sonic spring, Nathan Blaz of Geographer is as fizzling as a champagne flute, and as soothing as the view up on Twin Peaks.
A native band to San Francisco, Geographer makes indie rock echo from a luminous fusion of synths and acoustics into more melancholic melodies hung up on a star-lined string. Blaz, the band’s cellist, brings the same silver sliding fluidity in his DJ sets, drifting and ornate like a birds turnabout in unison through a polyrhythmic sunset.
Syncopating in from another cerebral soundscape, deep house producer Eric Sharp will unwind that somatic system. Plus, SoundTracking DJs will be on hand to open up festivities! Triple header.
