The Bascom Library is proud to present Matthew Gollub, award-winning author, professional storyteller, and poetry-music-be-bop teacher!Families with children of all ages are invited to join Matthew for a program that combines storytelling, interactive drumming, and creative writing!
“CHOO-KA CHOO-KA TING! ¡Ay, caramba!
¿Cómo cómo llego a la CHOO-KA pachanga?”
So scats the jazz drumming fly in Matthew Gollub’s children’s book with audio Jazz Fly 2: The Jungle Pachanga. Mixing jazz scat with Spanish?
“No problema,” says Gollub, a multiple award-winning children’s author who is also a bilingual storyteller and musician. But Gollub doesn’t stop with jazzy insects. Watermelons turn to frogs. A fearless snake boy brings lightning to the world. These and other scenarios play out in his popular books and dynamic, interactive performances.
