MAKE BELIEVERS
AGES 3-5 (including a Parent/Child option)
Favorite stories come to life with the magic of theatre-making, singing,
dancing and creative storytelling. Inspired by music and stories from our
mainstage show.

MUSIC THEATRELABS
GRADES K-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-5
The art of storytelling through valuable acting, improvisation, singing
and character work while exploring the story and themes from a musical
theater show. Often inspired by the musical currently on the Berkeley
Playhouse stage.

SONG AND DANCE
Grades K-2, 2-4
A beginning music theatre skills class for elementary-aged performers
exploring music and dance through upbeat production numbers from muchloved
musical plays – often the ones on our own main stage.

DANCE AND VOICE INTENSIVES
GRADES 4-12 Intro-Advanced levels
Fun and fast-paced dance and vocal training for singers/dancers inspired
by the hit production “Glee.” Focuses on skills, dance technique and stage
formations for polished performance presentation in both modern musical
theatre and pop styles.

ONE-ACT MUSICAL PLAY FOR TEENS
GRADES 6-10
Experience new or obscure works with themes related to the current main
stage production, while building skills in acting, dancing, singing and basic
performance. Directed by one of our core professional directors.

TEEN DIRECTORS LAB
GRADES 7-12
Learn the art of directing through the fundamentals of stage composition/
formations, text analysis, character development and production. Students
will work towards directing a classic or contemporary scene.

ADULT MUSIC THEATRE CLASSES
AGES 17 & UP
A creative and supportive place to learn the music theater basics in acting and
singing, or polish a piece for an upcoming audition. Small class environment,
with one-on-one attention from the professional teaching artist.
