Description
New Music Ensemble is an ensemble of flexible instrumentation dedicated to the music of our time. The NME focuses on performing very recent music including that of SCU composers, as well as contemporary classics and experimental works that highlight primary threads in the music of now. Directed by John Kennedy, the NME's first concert kicks off with Karlheinz Stockhausen's Set Sail for the Sun, and Terry Riley's hypnotic, groove-inducing In C.More Info
