The Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute (BASOTI) presents The Magic Flute in a fully staged production with orchestra. This opera (Die Zauberflöte in German) may be the most beloved of all Mozart's operas. It combines a profound exploration of our longing for universal harmony with unforgettable characters, gorgeous music, humor, and (of course) a magic flute. Prince Tamino undergoes trials to win the hand of his true love, Pamina. The Magic Flute is a classic tale that audiences of all ages will enjoy.
