Description
In this presentation for parents and professionals, John Fleming, M.Ed., BCET, will discuss paths for more effective learning for students struggling with school.He will briefly review how to identify behaviors that are associated with emotional scars and how emotions can affect cognitive processes and skill development. Then he'll turn to broad and practical techniques and strategies that reduce emotional triggers, change the learner's self-perception, and improve the sense of purpose and safety in the academic environment. The goal: to help remove barriers to learning and to allow students to move forward. Free event.
