Gather, network meet new friends and learn about sustainable food!The Moveable Feast will be a unique downtown Berkeley walking tour visiting three model sustainable restaurants located within a three block radius, in a city some consider the epicenter for the US food movement. We'll dine at Gather Restaurant, Revival Bar + Kitchen and Five Restaurant. Indulge in a locally sourced, organic and relaxed meal while learning about Slow Money, Slow Food, local farms and food sources. Enjoy an opportunity to leisurely network (feel free to sit next to a new person at each stop!), while enjoying presentations by award-winning restaurant owners and chefs.

Appetizers: Organic, locally sourced seasonal pizzas
Entree: Rainbow trout with turnip, chard and red mustard, or roasted chicken with local mushrooms and sunchokes
Dessert: Butterscotch pudding with peanut brittle and and a small plate of pecan, apple cinnamon and whoopie pies
Beverages: Wine or beer and coffee or tea
At Gather Restaurant (a Slow Money project) we’ll enjoy appetizers and a presentation by owner Ari Derfel, a founding member of Slow Money, and his partner Eric Fenster.
At the second stop at Revival Bar + Kitchen owner Amy Murray will present a family-style meal and you will learn about the history of the restaurant and their sustainable practices.
The last stop at Five Restaurant, located in the Hotel Shattuck Plaza, will feature dessert with tea, coffee and a chat with Chef Banks White and a discussion of shopping at local farmers markets where he sometimes leads tours.
