It may not be St. Paddy's day yet, but Motorpool Automotive will party just like it was March 17 anyway. They'll have live music, a DJ, free food and a car wash. The tunes start at 2pm and feature a really eclectic array of local talent, including Sweet HayaH (world-beat-soul), Forgotten Gods (doom-metal), Melted State (heavy blues rock), Twelve Gauge Promise (punk), O’Cravens (Celtic-rock) and AVTTE (sludge-pop ). Admission is one unwrapped toy (which will be donated to Toys For Tots) or five canned items (which will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank). The Silicon Valley Roller Girls will be selling car washes from 10am till 2pm, with all the proceeds going to fund their away games. Casp3r will be spinning dance tunes between bands. (Aaron Carnes)
