Description
Join us at the Homeless Garden Project Downtown Store for a day of seed bomb making, just in time for Mother's Day! Learn how to make a seed bomb using clay, compost and wildflower seeds that we will form into a creative creations under the direction of ceramic artist Jenni Ward. These will make a great Mother's Day gift as your seeds will bloom for years to come. All supplies are included and all proceeds benefit HGP.The activity should take about one hour. We'll offer two sessions, begining at 1:30 and 2:30 PM in our Downtown Store.
Jenni Ward is a ceramic sculptor, art instructor and owner of Earth Art Studio in Aptos. She exhibits her work nationally and has participated in the Santa Cruz County Open Studios Art Tour for nearly a decade. Her work has also been included in exhibitions at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, the De Saisset Museum and the American Museum of Ceramic Arts. She will be exhibiting pieces from her Nest Series which are built using a unique process of fusing clay forms inside of one another.
