On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13, Origen, for the first time ever, will serve brunch, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with offerings including hand cut tartare prepared tableside, house made labneh with optional toppings, mascarpone stuffed French toast, Catalan inspired puntilla (eggs fried in olive oil) with roasted asparagus and jamón serrano, and wood oven baked eggs, cooked in a Spanish casserole dish with black morels and a green garlic cream. For dinner, beginning at 5:30 p.m., Origen will be serving, in addition to the regular a la carte menu, their market-based tasting menu, $35.00 to $40.00 for 5 courses, with optional wine pairing and cheese course.
