Modern Day Slaves concerns the atrocities committed against Filipino overseas foreign workers (OFWs), who must flee their home country to seek work, often finding themselves trapped instead in a struggle for survival once they reach their foreign destinations. Many OFWs are employed as domestic helpers and, because of the countless injustices inflicted upon them have otherwise come to be known as Modern Day Slaves.More Info
