Bars, coffee houses and shops throughout San Francisco’s Mission District invite one and all to join them at their Holiday Block Party on December 12th. Spanning from 14th through 24th Streets between Mission and Dolores. Many will keep their doors open later while serving up both great sale prices and free holiday refreshments.It’s easy to give back to your community at the same time. A number of businesses have donated prizes for a raffle where all proceeds will support local Bay Area non-profit, Tipping Point (www.tippoint.org), and it’s efforts to fight poverty in our community. One lucky person will win a bounty of prizes from a mix of Mission District businesses. Raffle tickets will only be sold that night only.
Whether it’s a favorite out of print book, handmade soap, or a lovely one-of-a-kind necklace, it’s rewarding to find a gift you know someone will love and cherish. We simply wanted to make it affordable, and more fun. There’s no reason holiday shopping should be a chore, especially if you add a couple of friends, and some free cocktails.
