Mission Creek Music & Arts Festival (MCMAF or “Mission Creek”) presents music, dance, film, visual arts and cross-disciplinary performances for Bay Area audiences.
Produced by a consortium of local independent promoters, musicians and artists, this annual summer festival strives to foster community among local Bay Area artists, to bring innovative programming to diverse audiences, and to showcase local and international emerging artists and musicians.
By engaging members of the community as volunteers and organizers, the Festival also aims to increase community involvement and encourage young creative people to take roles of leadership.
Mission Creek is a fiscally sponsored project of Intersection for the Arts, whose long history of presenting new and experimental work and fostering Bay Area cultural projects make it an ideal partner in reaching out to our local community.
