In the tradition of the Band and John Hartford, Misisipi Rider writes and performs true Americana, rustic choogaloo with three part harmonies and swinging tempos. Mississippi's Mike Wolf and St. Louis' Cree Rider write the tunes and do the guitar work. Doug Blumer, Dallas Wayne's former right hand man and fellow Missourian keeps the tempo on stand-up and sings a fine harmony. Best of all is North Cackylacky Katy Rexford and her fine fiddle sweetening the recipe (check her out with the Burning Embers, too).Of course there's the extended Misisipi Rider family always waiting in the wings for a guest spot!
