2-day workshop
Time: Saturday and Sunday 12-5
In this two-day workshop students will learn free-form draping and hand sewing skills needed to create a soft draped felt velour or straw hat that fits perfectly. Using steam and a basic head shaped block students will learn to make a small or large brimmed draped hat of their own design. This workshop is appropriate for the novice or continuing student who would like a chance to further their millinery skills. If you would like to work with a color other than black please make your request when sending the registration form.
DeAnna Gibbons has trained many aspiring milliners
in her own studio and through the California College
of Arts - Ext Ed Department.
In 2006 San Francisco Magazine honored DeAnna
with “Best of the Bay” for her millinery workshops.
