Middle Space comes to the stage at Kuumbwa Jazz Center with special guests, Reuben Rogers and Ulysses Owens Jr. Composing duo Kurt Stockdale on saxophone and Frank Buchanan on 7-string guitar make up the core of Middle Space, and will premiering some of their newest songs for this special concert. Reuben Rogers is one of the preeminent bass players in the world, and has performed with Joshua Redman, Dianne Reeves, Nicholas Payton, Charles Lloyd, Roy Hargrove and many others. Drummer Ulysses Owens Jr. is currently touring with Grammy Award-winning artists Christian McBride, Nnenna Freelon, Ted Nash and has performed and recorded with countless other established artists.
