Join Mickaboo for an afternoon of fun, food, entertainment, and education! Featured events:• Advanced Bird Behavior Class - noon-5pm! Register at aviologylearning.com.
Learn how to read your bird’s body language, analyze its behavior, the training and behavior-shaping techniques used by professional trainers, dealing with biting and screaming and MORE!
• Basic Bird Care Class - FREE – 2-4 pm. Email [email protected] to reserve your spot! Required learning for anyone considering getting their first bird, or needing the fundamentals of responsible bird ownership.
• Buffet 1-2:30 pm
• Meet our volunteers and learn about our birds available for adoption!
• Make your own bird toy or buy our volunteer-made bird toys! Either is cheaper than buying comparable chain store toys - if you could find comparable toys! We'll have volunteers on hand to help you.
• Live DJ and bar will be available all afternoon.
• Aztec dance performance at 5 pm
