“An often humorous look into the life of an Asian family tryingto assimilate into the American mainstream of the Seventies.”
Michael was twenty-one when he made these photographs of his family in the Seventies. He has never shown them before until now. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has recently acquired many of them for their permanent collection and their foto-forum group is visiting his studio later this year to see and discuss the work.

Michael is showing the work at University High School as a give-back to the community and for the high school photography students. He will be giving an informal talk on the work at the Reception.
