Description
Footloose presents Memory, Reflection, Passagein association with Asian Improv Arts, a new, original, multimedia work integrating dance, video collage projections and lighting, with an original sound score. Choreographer/dancer Lenora Lee of Lee & Wang Dance, in collaboration with dancers Marina Fukushima and Sebastian Grubb, video projection artist Olivia Ting, lighting designer Melissa Weaver and new music composer/instrumentalist Francis Wong has set out to create a hybrid movement, video and sound language.
Three shows will be presented by Footloose at Shotwell Studios, September 25-26-27, 2009 as part of the AIM: Artists in Motion residency series in preparation for the premiere at the 10th Annual Women on the Way Festival in January, 2009 at ODC Dance Commons.
