Description
The upcoming winter season with its bare deciduous trees brings the presence of evergreens in the landscape into clear focus. While conifers are perhaps the evergreens we are most familiar with, broad-leafed evergreens belonging to many plant families also occur throughout the landscape. Examples include hollies, bay laurel, and evergreen magnolias. Join Chris Carmichael, the Garden's Associate Director for Collections and Horticulture for a walking tour of broad-leaf evergreens in the Garden. Advance registration required; members-only; free.
