Description
The JB Piano Co. is in San Rafael not Santa Rosa. 540 Irwin St.Jazz vocalist Melissa Morgan was the runner-up in the Thelonious Monk competition. She is one of the new bright lights on the jazz vocal scene. While being inspirationally influenced by Billie Holiday and Dinah Washington, Melissa projects her own individual expression. This evening she will present a varied program of selections from the repertoires of Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Duke Ellington and special standards. She is accompanied by veterans Larry Vuckovich and Jeff Chambers, as well as the young, talented drummer, Jimmy Gallagher, completing the band.
