Description
The San Francisco Museum and Historical Society launches their inaugural Author's Forum at the Old Mint.Celebrated SF historian Charles Fracchia will host the first Authors' Forum. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and chat with the following four featured authors: Frances Dinkelspiel, author of Towers of Gold: How One Jewish Immigrant Named Isaias Hellman Created California; Kevin Mullen, author of Chinatown Squad: Policing the Dragon From the Gold Rush to the 21st Century; Jeanne Farr McDonnell, author of Juana Briones of Nineteenth-Century California; Rand Richards, author of Mud, Blood, and Gold: San Francisco in 1849.
In addition, Charles Fracchia's When the Water Came Up to Montgomery Street: San Francisco During the Gold Rush will be available for purchase.
