In October of 2010 the collaborative efforts of Universal Grammar & New Sense lead them to The Pagoda at The Fairmont Hotel. On October 16th, 2010 it was with DJ Sake One and New Zealand based electro-jazz-soul trio Electric Wire Hustle, and then again on October 21st, 2010 with the soul sounds of Bilal the Live At The Pagoda Music Series was born and with it the developing of a DIY live music venue that has since hosted performances by Sweden's Little Dragon, The Robert Glasper Experiment, Talib Kweli, Jose James, Chile's Anita Tijoux, and DJ sets by the legendary Kenny Dope, Belgium's DJ LeFtO, Brazil's DJ Nuts, & Mexico's Mexican Institute of Sound (just to name a few). Since it's inception The Pagoda has transcended genres and borders, truly becoming an International music haven -- a "global groove center".

And now, Universal Grammar, New Sense and The Fairmont Hotel are proud to present an exclusive DJ set by singer-songwriter Mayer Hawthorne to celebrate the Live At The Pagoda 2 Year Anniversary at, Pagoda's signature DJ event/dance party, D1ME.
