Back in 2008, Ben Weasel went on an inexplicable 10-minute long rant on his radio show about how the Max Levine Ensemble were the "worst band in the world." Since this was before he hit a girl on stage, Weasel's word still carried a lot of weight in the punk world. So, the Max Levine Ensemble got revenge, punk rock style: They promptly released a "split" EP with Ben Weasel. On one side was a handful of their own fast, loud, ultra catchy punk songs (one of them titled "Ben Weasel Thinks We Suck"). On the flip side, they included clips from the rant.
