Mauricio Diaz is a Mexican singer-songwriter acclaimed for fusing together styles as varied as rock, Cuban son (which blends Spanish and African styles), the Son Jarocho (a Mexican version of same that came out of Veracruz), rap, bossa, blues, Brazilian and classical guitar. Right, so what does it actually sound like? Duh, it sounds like folk music.
