Description
2011 Blues Music Awards Winner and one of the most talked about and electric acts on the scene today. Onstage Hill is uninhibited driving audiences wild with his “whatever it takes” boundless stage antics. His voice, guitar playing, and magnetic energy surely will take him straight to the top. North Carolina native Hill started playing guitar when he was 12, and thanks to his Uncle Pat started digging deep into American Roots Music. While in high school Matt started going to blues jams, where he met drummer Chuck Cotton. Chuck had played with Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters Band alumnus.) In 2004 Matt started a band with Chuck, and they won the local competition that would send them to the 2005 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.More Info
