Join the Montalvo Arts Center as they host a unique world music event with Masankho Banda in the estate's intimate Carriage House Theatre. Masankho Banda presents an exciting performance of storytelling, music, drumming and dance from Malawi, Africa, which he learned from his elders. His presentation stresses the importance of peace and conflict resolution, diversity, and community building. This event is also free for low-income schools."Currently Masankho is on the Board of Directors of Pathways to Peace, an international peace-building organization. He is an Adjunct faculty member at the Sophia Center at Holy Names University in Oakland.
