Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Description

American Red Cross Silicon Valley honors Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service, in which volunteers can help out their community by visiting homes in the Silicon Valley and talking to residents about fire safety. Since the purpose of this day of service is to help others, volunteers will participate in various community disaster education activities which will include creating a household fire escape plan for residents, distributing door hangers, and participating in a scavenger hunt.

Those interested in participating in this event should sign up online to meet at one of the following locations at 10 a.m.:
