Under the leadership of Artistic Director and renowned conductor Valery Gergiev, The Nutcracker tells the story of Clara, a young girl who is given a nutcracker doll for Christmas. When her brother breaks the nutcracker, Clara cares for the wounded doll, which later saves her from the evil Mouse King and is then transformed into a heroic prince.
