March Madness on the Summit to Sea Wine Trail! Celebrating the craziness of March with Madly good prices on Insanely great wines!and some whacky food pairings to amp up the excitement!
March 3 & 4: Popcorn pairings! Burrell School’s in-house popcorn machine will spew out tasty treats to complement the brand new 2008 “Teacher’s Pet” Chardonnay.
Loma Prieta will offer caramel corn to bring out the richness of their 09 Pinotage, and Poetic Cellars will bring out the earthiness of Mourvedre with some popcorn with truffle oil.
March 10 & 11: “Twisted for pretzels!” Loma Prieta will feature chocolate covered pretzels for pairing with Merlot and Pinotage, while Poetic’s Rhone will shine when paired with tasty rye rods.
March 17 & 18: Get your green on and come out for a “Potato chips for St Paddy's Day” celebration with munchable goodies like sweet potato chips and purple crinkles. The patron saint of the Irish would be proud!
March 24 & 25: "Cookie Monster Madness!" this weekend is all about cookies, with brownie bites at Loma Prieta and gingersnaps and sugar cookies to bring out the spicy punch of Katy’s brand new Cabernet Franc and the lovely, lively and spicy 2007 Zinfandel.
