Description

We hear a lot about mindfulness in Buddhist practice. Usually that means just slowing down and paying attention to what you are doing, which is fine, but Mahayana Mindfulness is more than that. Mahayana Mindfulness is making all of your daily activities into spiritual practice by connecting them with various contemplations on things like compassion, ultimate truth, dependent arising, karma, and so forth. In this talk, we will go over some of the mindfulness exercises in our tradition as taught by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. We will also discuss and come up with some plans for how we are going to implement these mindfulness techniques in our lives, for example, how to remember to do them.

All are welcome! This talk is free, donations appreciated.
