Description
Gather in the intimate listening room setting of the Mission District's Red Poppy Art House for a special concert by popular local talents Laura Weinbach and Madeline Tasquin. The show is a send-off celebration for Tasquin, who embarks on a 3-month European Tour several days later. To mark the occasion, both Tasquin and Weinbach will be weaving some of their favorite French songs into the evening's musical offerings.All ages. Seated concert. Doors 7:30 - Music begins at 8pm.

Canadian-Californian songstress Madeline Tasquin was born to an opera singer mother and goldminer father, which goes a long way to explain her musical stylings as well as her irresistable presence on stage. Tonight she'll be joined by Chris Lauf (drums, ukulele), Oscar Westesson (upright bass) and Dan Cantrell (saw, accordion, piano). The band will play a selection of French languages favorites as well as original compositions by Tasquin, Cantrell, and Martian.
