Lyons Automotive is a family owned and operated business that has been serving Novato since 1971. It started out as a union 76 gas station that was opened by Bill Lyons in 1971. The station ran strong until 1989 when Union 76 decided to pull away from Bills location. Bill then decided to become an automobile repair shop. In 1993 Bill Became a u-haul dealer, and he started selling propane along with keeping the shop running strong. in June of 2006 Bill Lyons passed away at the age of 79, he worked up until the last day and actually went to work the day before he passed away. Bill's two daughters Diana and Marian took over the business and their husbands, Mike, and Dennis (Both are mechanics) are running the shop, and Marians son Ryan helps in the shop and works in the office. Lyons Automotive is open 7 Days a week. They do all auto repair foreign and domestic, Tires and Brakes, oil changes and tune-ups. They sell propane, rent moving trucks and sell moving supplies. Lyons apreciates your business!
