Description
It was 1989. Hair metal was on its way out the door and flannels from Seattle were becoming popular. Guitarist George Lynch has just left Dokken to embark on a solo career. He forms hard rock band Lynch Mob and despite grunge taking over the airwaves, releases Wicked Sensation in 1990, which goes gold. With a string of so-so albums over the next 20 years (even a disappointing rap metal attempt in the late 90s), Lynch Mob has finally come back to what they know best: how to rock. They released Smoke and Mirrors in 2009, which should have been the follow-up to Wicked. This tour showcases the amazing Lynch on guitar, original vocalist Oni Logan, bassist Robbie Crane of Ratt and Dokken drummer "Wild" Mick Brown. - Beau Dowling sanjose.com
