"Lucia Comnes is a singer and violinist with a great range of repertoire and experience performing in the U.S. and abroad. Beginning her career as a vocalist with Kitka in 2002, her recent experiences include providing music for The Planetary Dance by international dance pioneer, Anna Halprin, featuring at the Annual Polyphonic Song Festival in Athens, Greece, and accompanying Tuvan singer, Sainkho Namtchalak, in music festivals throughout Russia. In 2006 she completed her BA in Ethnomusicology (Long Island University, New York) after research in Ireland, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria."- cafedunord.com
