LoveLocal is a two-day shopping event featuring 15 women-owned businesses selling unique products including gourmet foods, artisan jewelry, gift items, and art. The opening night celebration will celebrate local supporters of small business and the Women’s Initiative program, as well as offer an exclusive shopping experience.The two-day event kicks off on November 15th from 4pm-8pm with an exclusive shopping experience and reception to celebrate local supporters of small business and the Women’s Initiative program. During the reception, Women’s Initiative will recognize Supervisor David Campos and Women's Initiative volunteer Xander Shapiro of Del Monte Foods.Tickets for opening night will be $100
Love Local will continue with the marketplace on Friday, November 16 from 11am-7pm, providing the public the opportunity to come and shop for unique gift items throughout the day. The event will take place at Caine Shulte Contemporary Art Gallery located at 251 Post Street, Suite 210 in San Francisco, which is also a Women’s Initiative graduate business. Tickets for the second day will only be $10;
