Description

This dynamic, powerful exhibit featuring the work of nine Bay Area photographers explores the nature of loss and our varied reactions to it. Each artist brings a unique perspective and addresses a different – often timely – aspect of loss: the emptiness when a loved one has gone, the places you can never again visit, the decline of a community through neglect.

The exhibit also features an interactive war memorial and the public is invited to leave items at the memorial throughout the duration of the exhibit.

Exhibitng artists are: Tom De Carlo, San Francisco; Beth Kientzle, Oakland; Eric Larson, San Francisco; Thomas Lavin, Orinda; Erin Malone, San Francisco; Charlotte Niel, Oakland; Heather Polley, San Francisco; Angelika Schilli, San Francisco; and Kirk Thompson, Berkeley.

Opening Reception: Sunday, November. 2, 2-4 pm
Artists' Talk, Wednesday, November 12, 7 - 9 pm
