Every Tuesday in January and February, residents of the nine bay area counties are invited to explore Aquarium of the Bay and receive a 50% discount on general admission tickets! As the only nonprofit nature center dedicated to inspiring conservation of San Francisco Bay and its watershed, Aquarium of the Bay provides a unique “window” to see our under-water neighbors through. Stroll through 300 feet of tunnels while 8-foot sevengill sharks, vivid garibaldi, massive sea bass, and schools of anchovies swim over your head. To gain discounted admission, locals must present proof of residency: • Valid driver's license or ID card with Bay Area address -OR – • Utility bill or bank statement that includes your name and Bay Area home address (not a P.O. Box), along with identification card.
