Description
The exhibit “Living in Art” reflects Bernstein’s 35 years of living in his home land and foreign countries as an artist. Through his paintings and drawings, viewers are taken into different times and spaces in a book written without words. His unique style of interpretation is the fruit of his love for a variety of artists both classic and contemporarily, as well as his study of history at institutions such as Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Miami under Eugene Massin. Inspired by the atmosphere and people at cafes, museums, farmers markets as well as landscapes across the globe, Bernstein captures their vibrant essence. Reflecting our musical roots are paintings of Blues and Jazz musicians from his extensive series.Works will be on display from August 7 to September 1st.
