Description
Liu Yin, of Guangzhou, China, explores the anxieties and confusions of love, nature, and consumerism in modern life. Her bright and cartoon-like paintings and drawings create an ambiguity around one's relationship to these sometimes alienating notions. Liu has exhibited in China, Italy, Germany, and Sweden. This is her first show in the United States."Liu Yin: Oh, Chinese Boy... Don't Be Ashamed..." is curated by Jenny Leung and Matthew Harrison Tedford.
The Chinese Culture Center gallery is open from 10am to 4pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
