Litquake hosts our first benefit of the year, at the vaunted Jardinière restaurant.Jardinière chef-owner Traci Des Jardins has graciously produced an exclusive literary-themed edition of the restaurant’s famed Monday night prix-fixe dinner to benefit Litquake, all night long (5 pm to closing)! It’s a way to help the festival, while enjoying a four-star culinary experience at the same time.
Cost for three courses with wine pairings is just $59* (apologies that this was earlier promoted as $49!). Demand for seating is already high, so we urge you to reserve online, or call the restaurant.
Jardinière is located at 300 Grove Street at Franklin, in San Francisco. One of the most acclaimed and respected chefs in the country, Des Jardins has been honored with numerous awards, including James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef of the Year, one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs, San Francisco Magazine’s Chef of the Year, and winner of the 2007 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef in the Pacific region. Jardinière has won Esquire Magazine’s Best New Restaurant award, and the San Francisco Chronicle lists it as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in the Bay Area each year since opening.
