Lights Up! Three Days of New Plays

Description

Join us for three days of fresh new works by local area playwrights. Each performance will offer a different play or set of one-acts and short plays, followed by an audience discussion with the cast and playwright. Buy tickets for all four performances for discounted pricing! Oh, and we’re planning special food & drinks and arts & crafts during the festival (including free ice cream on Sunday, thanks to Umpqua Bank).



Friday, April 28, 2017; 8 p.m.: Waiting for Next by Jeffrey Lo
This full-length play is directed by Leslie Martinson.

Saturday, April 29, 2017; 2 p.m.: Quick Quick Slow by Lynne Kaufman
This full-length play is directed by Walter M. Mayes.

Saturday, April 29, 2017; 8 p.m.: Candelabrum by Max Tachis
This full-length play is directed by Noelle GM Gibbs (the director of last season’s I and You at City Lights).

Sunday, April 30, 2017; 2 p.m.: A Series of Shorts
Confession by Barry Slater (a play in one act) directed by Casey Robbins
Hatikvah and Vichy’s Garden by Shayna Billings, directed by Samantha Ricci
Cooley’s Reel and Gertrude by Madeline Lowe Puccioni, directed by Bridgette Loriaux
B4 U Know It and How You Play the Game by John Levine, directed by Carolyn Murray
