Aaron Rivera – Opening ReceptionLife After Sunset
August 21st – September 30th
Painter/illustrator Aaron Rivera is pleased to announce “Life After Sunset,” a solo exhibition of all new works. A San Francisco-based artist and illustrator, Rivera’s work incorporates distinct colors, signature characters, and bold patterns with precision, and a sense of whimsy. The artwork in this collection explores love, personal history, and fantasy through an emotional narrative that is at the core of Rivera’s work. This is the artist’s debut solo exhibition and is comprised of 35 mixed media works incorporating acrylic paint, specialty papers, and hand-drawn illustrations.
The opening reception will be held at Internos Wine Café on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 from 8 – 11 pm. The exhibit will be on display through September 30th.
Internos Wine Café is located at 3240 Geary Boulevard (between spruce and parker).
