Broadway’s legendary musical has been specially adapted to meet the needs of young performers. July 28 through August 1, the talented student actors and singers of the Campbell Children’s Theatre Foundation will perform Les Misérables School Edition, a musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). This author-approved edition has been abridged to a running time of just over two hours, while carefully maintaining the integrity of one the greatest musicals ever written.CCTF’s production of Les Miserables School Edition, directed by Jeff Risk, with Vocal Direction by Wendy Morgan Hunter, and Music Direction by Tony Gaitan, will be performed entirely by students. The School Edition is specifically adapted and licensed by Music Theatre International and Cameron Mackintosh.
